Postpartum and Sibling Doula Services
Postpartum Care:
A postpartum package of 16, 25, or 30 hours.
A one hour prenatal planning session to determine your postpartum support plan
4 hour visits consisting of postnatal care for parents and newborn, lactation support and infant feeding, older sibling care, light housework, and cooking/meal prep
Emotional support for new parents, i.e. unpacking birth story if necessary
Access to evidence-based information and postnatal resources
Referrals to other professionals within the community, as needed including a pelvic floor specialist, lactation consultant, infant sleep specialist, etc.
Sibling Doula Care:
A care package consisting of either 16 or 24 hours while parents are in hospital
Additional hours outside of package will be billed separately
Due to the on-call nature of this job, I require one-two hours notice before coming to your home
A one to two hour prenatal meeting to meet siblings and establish trust and connection.
If more time is needed to meet siblings beforehand, I’d be happy to schedule another meeting at parents request
Meal prep, cooking, bedtime care, homework help, and potential pickup/drop off from school if needed
Resources for parents and siblings about adding a new baby to the family
Sibling doula’s transportation and meal fees will be included within the package
Childcare Services
What you can expect:
A 4-5 hour shift consisting of age-appropriate activities, including art projects, sensory exploration, outdoor play, literacy expansion, and social & emotional support. Such activities will focus on both fine & gross motor skills.
Active and engaging play! I always bring a set of clothes that allow me to be as hands-on as possible.
Community building through playdates and neighborhood excursions. I will always accompany a child to a class, if needed.
Light housekeeping and meal & snack prep.
Daily communication with parents/caregiver.
Fees and Additional Information
My daytime postpartum rate is $40/hour, with a 16-hour minimum
My overnight postpartum rate is $45/hour
My sibling doula rate is $40/hour for one child, $50 for two, $60 for three, etc.
My postpartum rate increases to $45 if support includes older sibling care
50% of your package fee is due at contract signing as a non-refundable deposit
I offer weekend availability
The remaining 50% of your package fee is due by our first scheduled shift
Postpartum shifts be booked no later than 24 hours in advance
Hours of your package are to be used within 4 weeks of contract signing
My childcare rate is $30/hour
I require a transportation service for any job ending past 11 pm
